Spiridon Zarkov
Spiridon Zarkov is the founder and CEO of Zark Lab®, established in 2024. He directs the development of blockchain-native foundation models, focusing on transaction intelligence, autonomous reasoning systems, and AI search and recommendation engines for global consumer adoption.
Pioneering the Future of Transactional Intelligence
In 2012, Spiridon established his first company, which pioneered advanced machine learning and natural language processing solutions for hedge funds and derivatives trading platforms. Building on this foundation, he created Zark Lab® with the vision to make blockchain technology accessible to billions, eliminating the complexities, security vulnerabilities, and technical barriers typically associated with decentralized networks.
Today, Zark Lab® is recognized as "The Most Powerful AI on Blockchain," thanks to its innovative modular AI infrastructure. This technology is designed to enable developers, enterprises, and everyday users to interact effortlessly with blockchain functionalities without requiring specialized technical expertise.
Spiridon studied finance at the master’s level in London, England, before moving to Singapore in 2017. He then led a global AI team for seven years prior to founding Zark Lab

Richmond Teo
Richmond Teo is the Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer of Zark Lab. Prior to this, he was the Co-Founder and CEO of Paxos Asia, where he led the company's strategic initiatives across the Asia-Pacific region, focusing on innovation, regulatory compliance, and the integration of blockchain technology into traditional financial systems.
Building Tomorrow's Financial Ecosystem
In 2012, Richmond co-founded Paxos with the vision of modernizing the financial infrastructure by leveraging blockchain technology. Under his leadership, Paxos developed a suite of products, including the issuance of regulated stablecoins like USDP and providing crypto brokerage services for major platforms such as PayPal and Mercado Libre. The company's commitment to compliance and transparency positioned it as a trusted entity in the digital asset space.
Today, Richmond Teo serves as a strategic leader at Zark Lab®, channeling his expertise to drive the convergence of AI and blockchain, aiming to make decentralized technologies more accessible and intelligent for users worldwide.
Richmond's journey began with a strong foundation in finance and technology. He earned his BBA from the University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business, majoring in Accounting, Finance, Corporate Strategy, and International Business. Prior to Paxos, he gained valuable experience as a Principal at Cedar Hill Capital Partners and as a Financial Analyst at Citi, focusing on mergers and acquisitions in the financial sector.
